GFNO - Vball Night

What a great night!
We had a great turnout of all ages.
We played volleyball at the beginning (and there would have been more after if it hadn't gotten dark so fast). Next year we will have to stat earlier!
Then, of course, we ATE!We also sat around the fire and cooked s'mores.Don't miss the next GFNO!!
It's coming up Sept. 11.

We are going to spend time praying for our country, our church, and our personal lives.
We are encouraging you to spend the day fasting and then come to GFNO to pray.
(The fasting is just a suggestion, not a requirement to participate)

A Spring Fling

Just in case you missed "A Spring Fling" here's the recap:
One of the guest speakers of the morning.
Her topic was: God's healing grace in my marriage.

The men graciously served us so that ALL the women could sit and enjoy themselves.
The men did a FABULOUS job!

Recognizing the women's committee board. The Japanese choir:
We had an amazing testimony for a missionary as one of our guest speakers.
She was very good.
There was another speaker at the beginning of the program.
I was not able to take pictures because of camera issues (which later got fixed).
But her testimony was on adoption as well as being adopted into God's family.
I think everyone left really touched by something they heard.

GFNO - Tamale Night

We had a great turnout for our Girlfriends Night Out!
There were around 55 women.
We had a special guest to teach us how to cook Enchiladas and Tamales. (which were very yummy!)
While we were waiting for the enchiladas and tamales to cook we heard a fantastic personal story on adoption and foster care. (and of course snacked on guacamole, salsa, and chips!)

Our challenge:
Is there someone you can reach out to?
It doesn't have to be foster care.
Is there someone that just needs encouragement and someone to look up to?
When you open up your home, you open up your heart.

Don't miss the next Women's Event June 6th!!
